Day 1 Mexico City Arrival / Anthropology Museum (B/L/D) Assistance, meet and greet by our tour guide. Private excursion to visit the A gondola boat trip in Xocgimilco & University tour with lunch. After lunch, we continue on to the Anthropology Museum. Transfer selected hotel for registration. 19.00 Transfer to a restaurant for dinner. We return to the hotel. 3-Nights Hotel stay in Mexico City.

Day 2 / Teotihuacan / Guadalupe Shrine (B/L/D) 09.00 Pickup from hotel. Full day guided excursion. We drive around the city center seeing emblematic monuments such as the Angel of Independence and the Fountain of the Goddess Diana. We drive by the National Palace and the awe-inspiring cathedral. We proceed to the spiritual heartland of Mexico, visiting two of its most fascinating monuments: The archaeological site in Teotihuacan, also known as the City of the Gods.

Climb to the summit of the pyramids for spectacular vistas of the Avenue of the Dead and the Temples of Quetzalcoatl. After lunch, we continue to the Shrine of our Lady of Guadalupe, the most visited religious site in Latin America. Transfer back to your hotel in the afternoon. Dinner. Optional Garibaldi night tour (not included). See the vibrant Mexico City streets at night on this unique Garibaldi night tour! Visit the Zocalo (Main Square) to admire its illuminated monuments and continue to the famous Plaza Garibaldi, the meeting place of the mariachis. Experience the culture of Mexico City with live music and traditional dancing.

Day 3 / México City / Cuernavaca / Taxco / México City (B/L/D) Full day guided excursion to legendary Taxco located 178 km (110 miles) SW of Mexico City. We visit two of Mexico’s most precious urban gems! First, we drive to Cuernavaca, the city of eternal spring. Cuernavaca is a picturesque small town, famous throughout Mexico for its benign climate and opulent Vegetation. Known as Mexico’s Beverly Hills, many of Mexico’s rich and famous reside here. Enjoy a familiarization tour through Cuernavaca before moving on to Taxco. Then sit back and enjoy the scenery as we continue to Taxco! This little town has ancient cobbled streets, shady squares and vibrant marketplaces. Known as the city of silver, Taxco is famous throughout the world. After lunch, we explore the colonial heart of town and stop by at the silver jewelry market. Transfer back to your hotel in the afternoon. Dinner at selected restaurant. Transfer back to your hotel. Day 4 / Mexico City / Cancun / Chichen Itza (B/L/D) Early guided transfer to the airport. Departure to Cancun. Assistance, meet and greet at Cancun airport by our local tour guide. Departure to Chichen Itza. On-route to the Mayan sanctuary we stop over at Cenote Ik kil for lunch. Transfer to Chichen Itza for a private guided tour of the Mayan citadel. Transfer to selected hotel for registration and welcome dinner. 19.00 We return to Chichen Itza to experience the sound and light show at the ruins. 1-Night Hotel accommodation in Chichen Itza.

Day 5 / Chichen Itza / Izamal / Merida (B/L/D) 09.00 Departure to visit colonial Izamal. In Izamal we visit the Franciscan Convent of San Antonio de Padua and ride on a horse drawn buggy through this picturesque town. Izamal also has a Mexican Folk Art Museum and the Pyramid of Kinich Kak Mo, which translates as Fire Macaw. Enjoy a traditional lunch at selected restaurant. We continue towards Merida to visit Hacienta Sotutan de Peon www.haciendaviva.com. Sotutan de Peon, is the restoration project of a landmark located in the heart of the ancient henequen zone. Get a true glimpse of what was once an operational Hacienda in the style and tradition of this past period. We drive to your selected hotel in Merida. Hotel registration and welcome dinner. 2-Nights Hotel accommodation in Merida.

Day 6 / Uxmal and Kabah Ruins (B/L/D) Full day guided excursion. Uncover the mysteries of the Yucatan as we explore two significant archeological sites with your tour guide, Kabah and the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Uxmal. Learn about the Puuc architectural styles of the ancient Maya at spectacular pyramids and buildings such as the Pyramid of the Magician, the Governor’s Palace, the Palace of Chaac Masks and the Arch of Kabah. After lunch, we return to Merida for a panoramic city tour through the White City (named after its limestone buildings). Transfer back to your hotel in Merida for dinner. Day 7 / Private guided transfer to the Cancun airport. Assistance at the Cancun airport counter with your homebound flight. Departure from Cancun to Havana, flight back to Mexico city or eslewhere.
